Ginny, we are so sorry to hear of Bob’s sudden passing. May Bob’s memory sustain you with comfort and peace. Marijo and I are keeping you in our thoughts and prayers.  Please let us know if there is any celebration of life planned for a later date.

Fond memories of growing up with Bob, Tom and their parents Tom and Nancy Harper.   It was always a good time when the Connors and the Harpers got together.   Many a Thanksgiving,  birthday,  Christmas or some other holiday was spent together in celebration.

I have very fond memories of my cousins Bobby and Tommy, and their parents, my uncle Tom and Aunt Nancy.   Both sons inherited their father's storytelling ability.    They were always a pleasure to be around.  RIP Bobby.

I lived across the street from Bob in our younger years, like elementary school. He used to put on magic shows in his back yard.  He had a beagle named Snoopy. He also had an older brother, who hung out with my sister and brother. I can't remember his name. We had some good times in the neighborhood. I'm sorry he's gone.

“Bobby & Tommy” Harper were Childhood Friends with the 4 Calhoon Boys of Cemetery Rd in Hilliard. Tom, Sam, Don & Bob. 
Their Father & Mother, Tom from Aquinas H S & Nancy from Upper Arlington H S , 
we’re Dear & Longtime friends of Tom & Sarah Calhoon  
And Our Dads would take the 6 boys Hunting & Fishing .As the oldest of the 6 boys, my 1st memory of The Harper’s began in approximately 1956 /57
At Tom & Bob Harper’s Grandmother’s home on Olentangy RR backing up to the Olentangy River approximately 3/4 to 1 mile north of, what today is Riverside Hospital.
What was A Beautiful Stone Home with Huge Patio overlooking the Olentangy River. 
Then,
We walked across a Quiet, Rural,  2 Lane Road called Olentangy River Rd & up the hill into Corn Fields as we began to hunt for Pheasants or Rabbits. Those fields later became The Knolls, New Home Subdivision running north to Henderson Rd. 
Our Fathers & their friends, Don Keitz, Roy “Butch” Benadum, Marsh Mowery, etc would eventually teach all 6 boys how to Shoot, at first, Daisy Pump BB guns, later 20 gage Shotguns & eventually our own 12 gage shotguns. 
However,, Most of our Hunting Success came after a Long Day of walking farm fields Without Rabbits (or maybe one, & Not too many Pheasants), either,However,
We became Experts at about 3:30 or 4pm when we ALL found Tin Cans (not moving) & began Target shooting with Much Greater Success! 
“Bobby” Harper was the youngest of the 6 boys,
However, along with his brother, “Tommy” & the 4 Calhoon Boys, All Sons of World War II Veterans, Marines Tom Calhoon & Don Keitz 
& I believe Navy Veteran & NEW Home Builder, Tom Harper, All  6 (boys) Young Men Learned “Male Bonding”  Gun Safety, respect for Nature, that our Mothers made Great Lunch Sandwiches (unless we went to downtown Delaware to the OLD L &  K restaurant or some Dive Sandwich Shop in Mt Sterling) 
Many 4th of July Parties were held at Tom & Nancy Harper’s lovely remodeled home on Zollinger Rd near Riverside Dr, watching Firewk
