Bob Purcell

He was born on November 10, 1953 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Norma Jean (Gray) and Robert D. Purcell, Sr. Bob was President and Owner of VIP Refrigeration Heating and Air Conditioning, Inc. He was an avid drag racing fan and enjoyed fixing things.

In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by an infant sister and sister-in-law, Patty Purcell.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 51 years, Melody (Powers) Purcell; son, Robbie Purcell; daughter, Jennifer Rogers (John); granddaughters, Kelsey Purcell (Gabe Delgado) and Jenaca Rogers; great-granddaughter, Elliana Delgado; sister, Penny Downs (Bryan); brothers, Mark Purcell (Terri), Glen Purcell, Doug Purcell (Elaine), and Rusty Purcell (Kathy); several nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends 11 am – 1 pm Thursday, April 4, 2024 at Schoedinger East, 5360 E. Livingston Ave., where the funeral service will begin at 1 pm. A private family interment will take place at Franklin Hills Memory Gardens at a later date.
