Bonnie was born on August 6, 1953, in Columbus, Ohio, to the late Wilma Jean (Manning) and Earl Clyde Cain. She lived her life with energy and enthusiasm, bringing warmth and spirit to those around her. Bonnie had a love for travel, especially trips to Hilton Head, and found joy in the timeless glamour of Marilyn Monroe and the music of Stevie Nicks.
In addition to her parents, Bonnie was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Michael “Josh” E. Akers, and her brother, Steve Cain.
She is survived by her children, Shawn Cunix, Joshua Akers, Jessica Morris, Jordan Akers, and Jonah Akers; five grandchildren; many siblings; and a large extended family who will cherish her memory.
The family will be holding a private graveside service at Glen Rest Memorial Estate. Arrangements have been entrusted to Schoedinger East.
