Booker Terry Henry

Booker Terry Henry, age 63 of Columbus, OH, passed away Tuesday, July 3, 2012. He was born and raised in Jasper, Alabama, son of the late Rev. Booker T. and Jean Henry. Booker worked in retail management for forty-one years as Store Manager for Sears and as Wardrobe Consultant for Nordstrom. He was known for his voice of reason and great sense of humor. Preceding him in death was his sister, Mary Jeanette Henry. He will be greatly missed by his wife of 41 years, Rugenia Henry; children, Mia and Brandon Todd Henry; sisters, Jan Henry McDaniel, Sharon Harris, and Christy Henry; and a host of family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 12 P.M. Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at SCHOEDINGER WORTHINGTON CHAPEL, 6699 N. High St., where family will receive friends from 11 A.M. until time of service. Additional services and burial will be held in Birmingham and Thomasville, Alabama. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Booker T.
