Brenda Combs

Born to the late Harrison and Bernice Upperman (McKean). She is also predeceased by her stepfather, Morris McKean.

Brenda was a 1962 graduate of Columbus West High School, where she met her husband of 56 years, Richard Combs, Jr.

She held several positions as a bookkeeper and secretary. In retirement, she found joy in traveling with her husband. Her favorite locations were St Thomas, Marco Island, Hilton Head, Seven Springs and anywhere the Annual Combs Family Retreat took her.

She was an avid gardener and was always helping her neighbors with their gardening questions.

Brenda adored her family and will be forever missed. She especially enjoyed family get togethers and watching her grandchildren's sports and activities.

In addition to her husband, Brenda is survived by her children, Chris Combs and Tiffany (Matt) Reeder; her grandchildren, Christopher Jr. and Maddy Combs and Sidney, Meara, and Emma Reeder. She is also survived by her brother, Buford (Jama) Upperman; sister-in-law, Joyce Combs Hunt; and several nieces and a nephew.

The family has requested a private service and burial. Arrangements entrusted to Schoedinger Worthington, 6699 N High Street, Worthington, Ohio 43085.
