

After graduating from Brookhaven High School, she served 7 years in the U.S Army as a Sergeant and was a Medical Specialist. She retired from Nationwide Children's Hospital after 37 years. She started as a Staff Nurse, then transferred to the Case Management Department where she was a Utilization Review/Discharge Planner then became the Program Manager of Care Coordination. She earned her master's degree in Executive Leadership. In 2017 she was Nationwide Children's recipient of The Daisy Award for Extraordinary Nurses.
She was a long-time member of First Alliance Church. Brenda enjoyed spending time with her family and friends on their many camping and cruise adventures. She was a loving woman who touched many lives with her kindness and focus on helping others. She had a strong work ethic and believed in doing all things with a smile on your face and she worked hard to make sure everyone knew how much she appreciated them.
She adored being "Granny" to her grandsons who brought her great joy. Brenda will be dearly missed by her husband John Lutsch Jr., children Kayla (Christopher) Dean, and Joel (Lacey) Lutsch, 3 grandsons Jeremy, Noah and Jonathan, brothers Rick (Jaki) Allinder and Curt Allinder, and sister Meg (Dan) Trump. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother Dan Allinder.
