Brent Roby

Robert "Brent" Roby, 60, passed away Saturday July 25, 2015 after a hard fought battle against cancer. A lifelong resident of Gahanna, he graduated from Gahanna Lincoln in 1973. Brent is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Donna Roby and brother Randall Roby. He is survived by his sister Monna (Robert) Kracker, sister-in-law Sherrie Roby, nieces Brandi (Andy) Helsby, Robyn (Wes) Miller, nephews Ryan and Scott Roby. Brent loved cars, bargains and especially swap meets, the perfect marriage of both of his hobbies. A longtime member of the Camaro Club, he both showed his own cars and judged competitions for many years. If it had a motor, Brent knew how to fix it. Brent worked for many years at Earl Auto Parts and ADW. In addition to the many loved ones he leaves behind, he was lucky enough to have a group of wonderful longtime neighbors and friends in the community for whose support he was very thankful. Family will receive friends from 5-8pm, Wednesday, July 29, 2015 at the SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST CHAPEL 1051 E. Johnstown Rd. (at Beecher Rd.), Gahanna. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am, Thursday, July 30, 2015. Celebrant Andrew Hoover officiating. Internment at Mifflin Township Cemetery.
