

Brent was preceded in death by his brothers, Brad Tufts, Tim Tufts, John Tufts and sisters, Norma Hamilton, Faith Dick, Beatrice Bethel and brothers in law, Frank Hamilton and Lewis Bethel.
Brent is survived by his wife, Patti Betts Tufts; his son, Dustin E. Tufts; siblings, Pete (Carol) Tufts of Sugar Grove, Joan (Dave) Erb of Reese, Ruth Thompson of Reece, Chuck (John) Tufts of Circleville, Sue Crumley of Ashville; sister-in-law, Ruby Tufts of Rushville; Special nieces and nephews, Tony (Jill) Crumley, Brad Tufts, Lisa Ryan, Beth (Doug) Lockard, Richard M. Hunt, and Karen (Larry) Fultz; many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great-nephews. He leaves behind dear friends, Larry Lilly, Greg Kreutler and brother-in-law, John Betts. A special thank you to Heartland Hospice for all your compassion and support.
Brent served in the United States Navy with the Seabees enlisting in 1974. Brent was a member of the National Elevator Union, Local #37 for 28 years. He absolutely loved his trade and excelled in it. He is leaving behind a brotherhood of great friends.
Brent enjoyed drinking coffee while visiting the local establishments and playing pool with his friends. He had a large group of lifelong friends and treasured their friendships. Brent loved the West. He had many travels to Montana, Glacier, Yellowstone and the family cabin at Canyon Ferry Lake in Montana. His last trip was to Nevada, where he visited his family and went to the Grand Canyon and Hoover Dam.
