Brett A. Shaw, 44 of Newark passed away on Sunday, October 3, 2010 at Licking Memorial Hospital. He was born in Fort Knox, Kentucky on October 13, 1965 to Jack Ivan Shaw, Sr. and the late Constance Marie (Smith) Shaw.
Brett was employed for several years with Goodwill Industries. He enjoyed working on computers, but most important in his life was spending time with his loving family. He was a dedicated husband, father, friend, and will be missed by all.
He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Loretta (Gardner) Shaw, whom he married on April 14, 1990; two sons, Matthew Josh Shaw and Brett Shaw Jr.; brothers, Chris William Shaw, Paul Andrew Shaw and Jack Ivan Shaw, Jr.; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Arrangements are entrusted to Criss-Schoedinger Funeral Home, 179 Granville Street, Newark.
