Brian D'Shawn Carpenter Jr, 5 of Columbus, passed away at home Friday, February 22, 2013 surrounded by his loving family after a 3 year battle with cancer. He was born May 15, 2007 in Columbus to Brian D'Shawn Carpenter Sr and Tiffany Busack. He enjoyed arts and crafts, video games and music. Brian was the best little boy, strong and a hero. In addition to his parents he is survived by his sister Alena, maternal grandparents Irene Burgess and Bruce Busack and paternal grandmother Bridget Carpenter, special aunts, uncles and cousins. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 2 PM until time of service at 4 PM at SCHOEDINGER NORTH CHAPEL, 5554 Karl Rd.
