Brooke Alayne (Wright) Brewster, “Brooksie”, 67, of Hilliard, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on May 4, 2010 at home surrounded by her family after an incredibly courageous battle with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. Born on July 30, 1942 in Coshocton, OH to Dean and Laura Wright and was a 1961 graduate of Mt. Vernon High School. She is preceded in death by her father, Dean Wright. Brooke will be greatly missed by her loving and devoted husband of 46 years, Ron Brewster; dog, Boomerang; 3 loving daughters, Heather (Matt) Schaller of Lebanon, IN., Jennifer (Morgan) Gierman of Columbus, OH., and Melissa (Kirby) Howard of Delaware, OH; mother, Laura Wright of Hilliard, OH; sister, Deanna Lauer of State College, PA.; brother, Craig (Janie) Wright of Dublin, OH; 11 grandchildren, Mason and Reid Schaller, Laura, Isabelle, Morgan, Eleanor, Benjamin, Ruby Kate and Josiah Gierman, Keaton and Emerson Howard; sisters-in-law, Sadie (Steve) DeWeese and Kathy Peters; 5 nieces; 5 nephews and many extended family and friends. Brooke loved life and people and was an angel here on Earth. Brooke was a member of the Upper Arlington Lutheran Church. She enjoyed traveling, especially to Sunset Beach, NC, attending her grandkids’ sporting events and extra-curricular activities. She also loved Ohio State football and basketball. Brooke’s main love in life was her family. Visitation will be held 11:00AM until 1:00PM Friday, May 7, 2010 at The Upper Arlington Lutheran Church at Mill Run, 3500 Mill Run Dr, Hilliard, OH 43026 with the funeral service immediately following at 1:00PM. Pastors John Stolzenbach and Eric Waters will be officiating with interment at Bloomfield Cemetery, Bloomfield, OH in Morrow County.
