To the Family,

It is very clear the Bo was a very loving person that enjoyed his family and having fun with all those around him. I am very sorry for your loss, and thought sharing some encouraging and comforting thoughts from the bible could help during this time of your loss.

Isaiah 45:18 "The One who formed the earth, its Maker who firmly established it, who did not create it simply for nothing, but formed it to be inhabited."

This scripture along with others (Rev 21:4, John 5:28,29 & Psalm 37:29) truly helps us to understand that soon we will be reunited with those we have lost in death. Also these bible truths allow us to know that we have the hope to live with them forever on a paradise earth where we will no longer experience death or the emotions that come with it. The bible allows us to clearly see ourselves in the near future with those we have lost in death and enjoying life together again. I hope this helps you during your time of loss and to feel comfort in what is soon to take place.

Lit a candle in memory of Bruce "Bo" A. Bowman

To the Bowman Family, Vinnie and children, May Bruce's beautiful spirit live through each of you!  I pray God comforts each of you during this most difficult time.  I pray God's love, strength, and peace empowers you to endure the days to come.  Bruce was a wonderful man!  Always so personable and jolly.  I enjoyed serving on a committee with Bruce, attending in-service training with Bo, and passing him in the hallways at CRC many years ago!  I last saw Bo at Sandy Fry's retirement party in April 2012.  I just can't believe the physical challenges he experienced since that time.  Bruce, your time on earth was way too short, but I hope you are dancing on the streets of gold and enjoying the miracle of eternity with the Lord!   With much love and prayers, Angie D. Smith

Our prayers have been with you from the beginning of your journey,  May you find comfort in the "Love" that Bo had for you and the "Love" that  Jesus Christ has for all mankind including you. Rejoice for Bo has crossed over to be with Jesus Christ His Lord and Savior! 

Weeping may endureth for a night, but Your Joy will come!.  This too shall pass.

To the Bowman family
I send my deep condolences to you in the loss of your husband and father and I know he was also your friend. Lt.Bowman will surely be missed. He was a very personable person. And a true person a respected supervisor that I am proud to have had. Mrs. Vinnie I am sending heartful prayers up for you and your daughters because I know what its like to take care of your loved one. And when their battle is finally over and they can rest stay strong love like your husband was. From your Eugene Lang College Family purchased the Angel Arrangement for the family of Bruce A. Bowman.

A favorite memory of mine, is when Bowman and his wife, my husband Bates and I all went out to eat; for all you could eat shrimp night at Red Lobster.  We had the best time, they were the best company ahd the best conversation...and Bowman really put away alot of shrimp that night... I enjoyed them immensley.  So sorry for the lost Vinny...Praying for your family.  The Bates family.
