Bruce was born on April 9, 1964 in Portsmouth, Ohio to the late Doris Riddlebarger. Bruce co-owned Aardvark Automotive Services LLC, and he was the sole proprietor of Urban Renewal Serves, which owned multiple properties and other entities. Bruce was a loving father and son. Bruce was an avid motorcycle and auto drag racer. He also loved his boats and going to the Ohio River especially the Sternwheel Festival.
Bruce is preceded in death by his mom, Doris Riddlebarger; and his adopted father, John McCormick.
Bruce is survived by his son, Daniel Hart; his grandchildren; Millie Hart, Daniel Hart Jr. and Amanda Welch; his mother, Jane McCormick; his brothers, Kevin Smittle, Brennan Smittle, John McCormick, Mike McCormick; his sisters, Erin Smittle, Jane McCormick, Lisa Trees, Lindsay McCormick, and Natalie Trees Dearnaley; and many other relatives and friends.
Family will host a private service to honor Bruce at a later date.
