

Camilo Juarez, 66, of Columbus, passed away on September 21, 2021. He was born on July 18, 1955, in Michoacan Mexico to the late Cruz and Marcelina (Vieyra Miranda) Juarez Urieta. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Joel and Julio Juarez.
Camilo was a very active man with many hobbies, interests, and achievements. Camilo was a machinist at Abrasive Technology which became his second home. There he spent 30 plus years leaving his mark where he created a second family. Camilo loved to go fishing as well he loved spending quality time with the people closest to him. He would go fishing with friends and family. He would even travel out of state with friends to go on fishing trips. He also loved to travel and explore every chance he got. His favorite place that he visited was the Dominican Republic. He would always talk about his vacation there and wanting to go back. Another passion of his was photography, although he was not a professional photographer you could always catch him with a camera to capture the moment. He loved capturing all the special moments with his friends and family. In his free time, he loved helping others as well as giving back to the community. He belonged to the parish of St.Elizabeth Church and would always give back. His love and generosity were beyond measure. He will be greatly missed. No one who met Camilo forgot his charisma as well as his laughter for he always had a way of making everyone feel as though they were welcomed and his friends.
Camilo will be greatly missed by his wife, Yolanda Juarez; children, Leticia (Anthony) Stewart, Diana Juarez, Ruben Juarez, Cesar Juarez, Norma Angelica Llamas, and Rita Valdez; grandchildren, Marcanthony, Maxwell, Makayla, and Mateo Stewart, Ayden and Kyran Alfred; and several extended family members and friends.
A funeral celebrating Camilo’s life will be held on Saturday, October 2, 2021, at the SCHOEDINGER WORTHINGTON CHAPEL, 6699 North High Street. His family will receive friends on Friday, October 1 2021, from 3PM until 7PM at the funeral home.
