

Candace “Candy” Duncan, age 63, of Columbus, Ohio passed away peacefully on Friday, November 23, 2012. She was born July 4, 1949 in New Castle, Indiana to the late James and Christena (Esham) Jarrett; also preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence “Larry” Duncan, father-in-law, Forrest Duncan and half brother, Terry McCoy. Candy is the proud mother of two sons, Andrew (Nicole Eckert) Duncan and Nathaniel (Amber) Duncan; and loving grandma of Kennedy Duncan. She is also survived by her mother-in-law, Faylee Duncan and her niece, Candy (Randy) Horsley and their children, Sidney, Spencer and Shelby as well as extended family and good friends. Candy retired from Ohio Bell-SBC and was an avid sports enthusiast. She loved her dogs and was always ready for a road-trip in her corvette. Anyone who knew Candy will never forget her laugh! Family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8pm Tuesday, November 27, 2012 at Schoedinger North Chapel, 5554 Karl Rd., Columbus, OH 43229; Funeral Service 11am Wednesday, November 28, 2012 at Central College Presbyterian Church in the Ellsworth Chapel, 975 S. Sunbury Rd., Westerville, OH 43081; interment in Blendon Central Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Peletonia, 351 W. Nationwide Blvd., Columbus, OH 43215, which will be used directly to fund cancer research at The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center-James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute.
