Carey B. Paul

Carey B. Paul III, MD, age 88 died Saturday, December 12, 2015 at Mother Angeline McCrory Manor. Carey was born in Columbus, Ohio on February 7, 1927 the son of Carey B. and Martha (Teachnor) Paul. Carey was a physician and with a family practice in Bexley from 1953 until his retirement in 1985 and was associated with the Mt. Carmel Health System. He also served as the Medical Director for the Columbus Board of Education for 30 years. Along with his parents, Carey was preceded in death by his first wife Barbara Selen Paul. He is survived by his wife Marilyn Kraus Paul; children Carey B. IV (Joan) Paul and Nancy (Don) Stevens; four grandchildren; one great-grandson; and brother William Teachnor (Barbara) Paul. Friends may call 4-6pm, Thursday, December 17, 2015 at Schoedinger Midtown Chapel, 229 E. State St., Columbus, OH, 43215, where a funeral service will be held at 10:00am, Friday, December 18, 2015 with Dr. Richard Ellsworth officiating. Interment will follow at Fancher Cemetery, Westerville, OH. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that contributions be made to Mother Angeline McCrory Manor, 5199 E. Broad St., Columbus, OH 43213.
