Carl Frank Baughman

Carl F. Baughman, age 82, passed away Sunday, May 11, 2025. He was born on December 8, 1942 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Erpel and Odell (Clark) Baughman.Carl graduated from The Ohio State University, becoming an architect. He loved making designs for all the various projects he was a part of. His favorite was to design hospitals and police stations.His other hobbies included: playing the piano and guitar, and singing. He also enjoyed listening to Elvis and Marty Robbins, playing mini-golf and watching or reading history related materials. His favorite movies were all slapstick comedies like: The Naked Gun trilogy, The Birdcage or Victor/Victoria. Carl will be greatly missed by his wife, Yesim. His children, Sherry Durant (Mark), Arman Baughman (Virginia), Donna Peterson, Aylin Baughman, and Murat Baughman will also miss him. A graveside service for Carl will be held Saturday, May 17, 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at Union Cemetery, 3349 Olentangy River Rd, Columbus, OH 43202.
