Carl Alvin Blankenship, Jr., 70, of Bellefontaine died Saturday, November 8, 2014. He was born August 8, 1944 in Baton Rouge, LA to the late Carl Alvin Blankenship, Sr., and Lucy Ollie (Walker) Blankenship. He was a 1964 graduate of Marion-Franklin High School and retired from Honda, Marysville. He enjoyed photography and computers. He was a generous, loving father and grandfather. He is survived by his sister Peggy Chustz and children Glen Edward (Angie), Mark Alan (Erin) and Daniel (Adam Barmore), grandchildren Shawn, Cody (Emily), Logan, Ian, Ethan, Paige and Samuel, 5 great grandchildren, nephews Eric (Tracy) and Chris. Family will receive friends Thursday, November 13, 2014 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at SCHOEDINGER GROVE CITY CHAPEL, 3920 Broadway where a funeral service will be held Friday, November 14, 2014 at 1 PM.
