Carol Hanna Barnard, of Columbus, died Wednesday, June 21, 2017. She was born March 28, 1925, in Philadelphia, PA to Ralph Edward and Hilda (Blose) Hanna. Preceded in death by her husband, John Q. Barnard, Jr.; brother-in-law, Jack Pfeiffer and niece, Cathleen Pfeiffer Kelly. Carol is survived by her sister, Barbara Pfeiffer; nephew, Jay (Jill) Pfeiffer; 4 great nieces, a great nephew and their children. Carol was a graduate of The Ohio State University, where she was a member of Kappa Alpha Theta sorority. Private interment will be held in Arlington National Cemetery.
