Carol Eileen Cave

Carol Eileen Cave, 70, passed away Thursday, September 6, 2018. She was born December 26, 1947 in Columbus, Ohio to the late George and Rena (Cummins) Cave. Carol was retired from School Employees Retirement System of Ohio. She was devoted to her family and cherished the time that they spent together. Carol enjoyed travelling and spending time at the beach. She was an avid collector of anything to do with angels or ladybugs. She was a longtime member of Holy Family Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Alva "Butch" McCoy and brother, Phillip "David" Cave. Carol is survived by her children, Bradley (Marcie) McCoy, Georgia McCoy, and Lindsey (Simon) Charney; grandchildren, Christopher (Lindsay), Kyle, and Cody McCoy, Timothy and Brenden Dalton, and Avalynn, Emmalea, and Renamae McCoy-Hayes, and Dominic and Dexter Charney; great-grandchildren, Lorelai and Charlotte McCoy and Cody McCoy, Jr.; siblings, Candace (Daniel) Morbitzer and Cecil and Jimmy Cave. Carol's family will receive friends 2-6 p.m. Sunday, September 9, 2018 at the SCHOEDINGER GROVE CITY CHAPEL, 3920 Broadway, Grove City, where the funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday.
