Carol Ann (Waddell) Fields of Columbus, Ohio passed away peacefully on Monday, November 24, 2014. She is preceded in death by parents Richard and Ruby Waddell; sisters Shirley Thomas and Rosemary Rutledge. Carol retired from General Motors and the Ohio Department of Taxation. She was known for her gracefulness and enjoyed traveling and family. She leaves to cherish her memories, husband and best friend of 50 years, Eugene; daughters Sharyl R. Fields and Alicia Riggins; sons Gary D. Fields and Derrick (Donnetta) Fields; sisters Jacqueline Marshall and Virginia White; sister-in-law Brenda (Frank) Dunlap; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. The family will receive friends 11:00am-12:30pm Friday, December 5, 2014 with a memorial service to follow at 12:30pm at Schoedinger Midtown Chapel, 229 E. State Street.
