

Carol Rose Scott, 82, passed away Monday, August 20, 2018 peacefully at home from leukemia. Carol was born August 4, 1936, the daughter of the late Clayton and Phyllis Rose. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 55 years, David J. Scott, her son, Christopher; brother, Donald G. Rose and foster brother and sisters, Louise Thompson, Pauline King and Sherman Sheldon. She was a graduate of Dublin High School and The Ohio State University School of Nursing. Carol was a school nurse for Columbus City Schools for 32 years.
Carol and husband, David enjoyed traveling. They visited all 50 states and many foreign countries on five continents. She was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister, sister-in-law, aunt, cousin and friend. Carol loved her country home where she canned many fruits and vegetables that David and she grew in their garden. She was an avid bridge player who obtained the status of bridge life master.
Carol is survived by her son, Craig Scott; granddaughter, Julia; brother, Clayton Rose; sister, Barbara Headlee and many nieces, nephews and countless friends. She was a member of the DUBLIN COMMUNITY CHURCH, 81 W. Bridge St., Dublin, OH 43017, where a Celebration of Life will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, August 27, 2018. The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, August 26, at SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST CHAPEL, 1740 Zollinger Rd., Columbus, OH 43221. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Loving Care Hospice of Marysville, 779 London Ave., Marysville, OH 43040 or to Dublin Community Church, 81 W. Bridge St., Dublin, OH 43017.
