Carol S. Weldon

Carol Sue Weldon, age 67, of Westerville, Ohio went home to be with the Lord on February 27, 2014 after a long struggle. She was born June 27, 1946 in Columbus, Ohio, a daughter of the late Pearl and Velma Gertrude Cochran. She was also preceded in death by her husband Patrick C. Weldon. Carol is survived by her daughter Stephanie (Rob) Slavens of Marion, OH; two step-daughters Lori (Mark) Locke of New Lexington, OH and Angie Dobbie of Lancaster, OH; step-son, Ray Weldon of Stafford, VA; sister Janet(Dave) Covert of Red House, WV and brothers, Jack (Chong) Cochran of Grove City, OH and Herschel (Posie) Cochran of Whitehouse, TN. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Family will welcome friends 2-4 and 6-8pm Tuesday, March 4, 2014 at Schoedinger East Chapel, 5360 E. Livingston Ave., Columbus, OH 43232 where services will be held at 10am Wednesday; burial to follow at Floral Hills Memory Gardens, Lancaster, OH; Pastor Sue Ellen Miller, officiating. Donations, in Carol’s memory, may be made to the Cleveland Clinic or to a breast cancer charity of your choice.
