

Carol A. Marcum, age 75, passed away on Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at her residence. She was preceded in death by her parents; Charles R and Vernia M. (Isaacs) Hamilton, J.W. Marcum, her husband, Captain of the Wooly Bully and fishing buddy of 48 years, siblings; Charles "Nig" (Billie) Hamilton, Barbara (Jim) Pingleton, Paul Hamilton, James Hamilton, brother-in-law; Bobby Eden. Carol is survived by her sons; Scott (Staci) Marcum, Vernon (Marcia) Marcum, grandchildren whom she dearly loved; Cody, Derek, Alaina, Alex Marcum, sisters; Mildred Eden, Iva (Walter) Simpson, Daniel Hamilton, sisters-in-law; Jackie and Brenda Hamilton, her niece "daughter"; Gracie Hendrickson. And numerous Nieces, Nephews, and wonderful friends. She is also survived by her fiancé; Henry "Hank" Muncie, they got engaged over the Christmas Holiday and were planning a Bluegrass Wedding. Carol worked as a dry cleaner since 1969. She managed The Karl Road Cleaners until her and J.W. bought Grove City 1 hour Cleaners, where she worked for 32 years. She cleaned many band uniforms, police uniforms and countless American Flags for Veteran's funerals. A service Schoedinger Funeral Home is grateful for. Carol was a member of Highland Baptist Church and a staple in the Grove City Community. She and Hank enjoyed going to bluegrass concerts and going to antique car shows in his 1949 Dodge Coronet.
