Caterina Frissora

Caterina (Rina) Frissora, passed away peacefully at home on April 19, 2019 at the age of 71. Born in Introdacqua, Italy on August 24, 1947. She is preceded in death by her father Arnaldo Bonfini, of Italy. Survived by her loving mother Ilva D'Angelo, brother Francesco (Kathleen) Bonfini, sister Marcella Bonfini; and beloved mother of David (Kristen) Frissora, Debbie (Ryan) Thom; grandchildren Evan and Clara Frissora, Aiden and Adam Thom, many nieces and a nephew, and decades of friends and clients. Rina was a longtime business owner in Columbus, owning and operating Rina Of Italy Hair Salon, opening her first salon at Northern Lights Shopping Center in 1975. She enjoyed entertaining and cooking for family and friends and was famous for her homemade pizza. She looked forward to Sundays and spending time with her children and grandchildren. A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 24, 2018 from 4 - 8 PM at SCHOEDINGER WORTHINGTON, 6699 N. High Street. A Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, April 25, 2019 at 11 AM at Resurrection Cemetery, 9571 High St, Lewis Center. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made out to the Make-A-Wish Foundation Ohio, 2545 Farmers Drive, Suite 300, Columbus, OH 43235.
