Catherine Rebecca Eblin

Catherine Rebecca Eblin, age 91, passed away Friday, September 13, 2013. She was born December 17, 1921 in Peoria, Ohio to the late Manilla and Hazel (Blue) Rhoads. Catherine was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. She was retired from Worthington City Schools and loved to spend time with her family. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her 3 sisters; son, Larry Eblin; and son-in-law, Frank DeFrancisco. Catherine is survived by loving husband, of 74 years, Frank; daughters, Rebecca DeFrancisco and Deborah (Scott Atwood) Lee; daughter-in-law, Patricia Eblin; grandchildren, John Eblin, Michael (Mary Beatley) DeFrancisco, Dr. Mark (Abby) DeFrancisco, Cathy (Tim) Bailey, and Melissa (Mike) Tuffey; 11 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-granddaughter; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends. Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday, September 16, 2013 at the SCHOEDINGER NORTH CHAPEL, 5554 Karl RD., where funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday. Interment Blendon Central Cemetery.
