Catherine Turner Watson

Catherine Watson, age 100, passed away Monday, December 7, 2015. Catherine was born on August 4, 1915 in Painter, Virginia to the late John and Lizzie Turner. In addition to her parents, Catherine was preceded in death by her husband, William Watson, Jr, and son, William Watson III. She will be greatly missed by her daughter, Linda Watson of Washington, DC; her sisters, Bessie Hill of Indiana and Cleo Beckett of New York; her grandchildren, Evin Watson and Tamara Watson; her great-grandchildren, Winter Watson and Willa Watson; her daughter-in-law, Candice Watson; and many other family members, extended family, and friends. The family will receive friends from 10-11 AM on Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at the SCHOEDINGER WORTHINGTON CHAPEL, 6699 N High Street, Worthington, Ohio 43085, where funeral service will follow at 11 AM. Interment at Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made, in memory of Catherine Watson, to the William H Watson Jr Endowment Fund #607589 in care of the Ohio State University Foundation, PO Box 710811, Columbus, OH 43271.
