Cecil E. Dotson

Cecil E. Dotson (Hillbilly), age 65, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 23rd, 2017 at his home surrounded by family and friends. Born February 15th, 1951 in Chattaroy, West Virginia to the late Joseph and Lonia (Roberts) Dotson. Preceded in death by four sisters and seven brothers. Cecil is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Linda; daughter, Christina (Joe) Campbell; son, Brian (Angie) Dotson; grandchildren, Steven Bartley, Cameron Campbell, Brian Dotson, Hunter and Dylan Higginbotham; sisters, Ocie (Fred) Harris, Nettie (Nelson) Hane; brothers, Bill Dotson, James (Mary) Dotson, and Larry “Spider” (Carla) Dotson; several nieces, nephews and lots of friends. Cecil is described by his adoring family as being the type of person who’d help anyone. Throughout his life he was most passionate about his family, and helping others through the many benefits he hosted where he acted as auctioneer. He will be greatly missed! A visitation will be held 2-6pm on Saturday, January 28th, 2017 at the SCHOEDINGER NORTH CHAPEL 5554 Karl Road, Columbus, OH. A funeral service will be held at 6:00pm Saturday evening at the funeral home. Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, or a charity of your choice.
