Charlene E. Vorys

Charlene E. Vorys, age 71, passed away Sunday, April 3, 2016 at Mt. Carmel East Hospital. She was born January 27, 1945 to Eugene and Amber (Innis) Miller in Columbus, Ohio. Charlene was a 1963 graduate of Linden McKinley High School. She was the most loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother who will be sadly missed by her family and friends. Charlene was outgoing and loved socializing, especially over a game of black jack. She also enjoyed travelling to upper Quebec where she enjoyed fishing. She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Jerry and Lanny Miller and brother-in-law, Larry Rhoades. She is survived by loving husband of over 44 years, Ralph Vorys, Sr., son, Ralph (Adriana) Vorys, Jr.; grandchildren, Amber, Matthew, Danielle and Anna; brothers, David (Candy) Miller; sister, Linda Rhoades; sister-in-law, Judy (Eldon) Voshart; along with 12 nieces and nephews; numerous grand nieces, grand nephews, cousins and many friends. Family will receive friends Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at SCHOEDINGER NORTH, 5554 Karl Road, where a funeral service will be held on Friday, April 8, 2016 at 11 AM. Pastor Bob Burney officiating.
