Charles T. Boggs, age 83, passed away on Wednesday, May 2, 2012. He was born in White Sulphur Springs, W.Va., on August 12, 1928, to the late Henry Clarence and Muriel Helena Boggs. Charles was a US Navy veteran and served our country during the Korean Conflict. He worked for Timken Roller Bearing as a pipefitter, retiring after 30 years of service. He was a hard worker, and he was known as the neighborhood handyman. He enjoyed camping and traveling, especially the annual family trips to Myrtle Beach. He was calm and easygoing, but under his quiet demeanor was a Godly man with much wisdom to share. Boggs and Marsha W. James; granddaughter, Stephanie Nichole (Phil) Williams; great granddaughter, Shayla Marie Williams; siblings, Clarence G. (Hazel) Boggs and Phyllis Bussard; and several nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. Family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Monday, May 7, 2012, at the SCHOEDINGER NORRIS CHAPEL, 3920 Broadway, Grove City. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home with Pastor Avery K. Little officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Cemetery.
