Dr. Charles Benton Dygert, 86 of Grove City passed away on Friday, March 6th in Hilliard, Ohio. He was born September 21,1933 in Ogdensburg, New York. He served as U.S. Marine.He relocated to Columbus, Ohio and became a tool and die maker at General Motors. He attended The Ohio State University attaining a Ph.D in education. He worked as a motivational speaker and traveled the world. Preceded in death by his parents, many siblings, his beloved wife of 56 years, Donna and son, Jay. Survived by sons, Todd (Debbie) Dygert and John (Alison) Dygert, Grandchildren Sarah, Alyshia (Kyle) Benedict, Emily (Ryan) Burton, Hayden, Jackson, and Emma Kate. Great Grand-son Brayden. His special interests were flying his plane and spending time with his friend Chuck. A private service will be held for the family to honor his life.
