Charles “Chuck” Gerlach, age 63, of Powell, passed away Monday, November 28, 2022 at his home. He was born June 4, 1959 in Columbus, Ohio. He was the ultimate auto mechanic and never passed up an opportunity to help family members or a stranded motorist. Chuck was a devoted father and grandfather who will be sorely missed by his children, Caressa (Rodney Ping) Miracle, Jimmy (Sadira Henkaline) Gerlach and Tony Gerlach; grandson, Valerian Ping; sister, Patricia Hesson; brother, Frank Gerlach; aunt, Helen Minton; and his wife Tina’s brothers and sister and their family, Terry (Beth) Noble, and children, Diana (Joe) Davis and children and Tim Noble’s children; other relatives and many friends. Chuck was preceded in death by his father, Ray Gerlach; mother and stepfather, Wilda (Boram) and Tony Sbrochi; the love of his life wife, Tina Noble Gerlach and brother-in-law, Tim Noble. Family always came first for Chuck as he was present for his children and grandchildren’s events. He was a huge fan of NASCAR especially # 3 Dale Earnhardt and would seldom miss a race. Friends may call 2-4 and 6-8 pm Wednesday, December 7, 2022 at SCHOEDINGER EAST, 5360 E. Livingston Avenue, where funeral service will be held 1:00 pm Thursday, December 8, 2022.
