Charles "Chuck" Joseph Oshinski

Charles “Chuck” Joseph Oshinski, passed away on Tuesday, July 9, 2013 at the age of 95. Born February 14, 1918 to the late Charles J. and Julia (nee Sniatecki) Oshinski. An avid bridge player, the love of the game started at the age of 12. A long time member of The York Golf Club & Worthington resident, he had a true passion for the game of golf. It was there that he enjoyed the comaraderie with friends, as well as playing the game of golf. He joins his wife Mary Alberta Oshinski, who passed away October 26, 1997; sister Barbara Despres. He is survived by his children Jane Woodward, Patricia (Dean) Mitchell, John (Paula) Oshinski, Susan (William) Reighard, Mary “Tina” (Ronald) Maddaus, Kathleen (John) Imboden, William (Joan) Oshinski; grandchildren Dena Mitchell, Christopher (Kara) Mitchell, Julia Reighard, Jason Farr, Joshua (Lori) Imboden and Heather Imboden; great- grandchildren Katelyn and Jack Mitchell; brother Norbert (Constance) Oshinski; many nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends on Sunday from 2:00 – 5:00 p.m. at Schoedinger Worthington Chapel, 6699 N. High Street in Worthington, where a prayer service will be recited 4:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, July 15, 2013 at St. Peter Catholic Church, 6899 Smokey Row Road, Columbus 43235.
