Charles "Bill" Peters, peacefully joined his Heavenly Father on Thursday, January 7, 2021, surrounded by loved ones. He is preceded in death by his parents and siblings. Bill is survived by wife Sherry, children Kathy (Steve) Messenger, Mark (Tina) Peters, Doug Peters, Amy (Dion) Worrell, and Timothy Peters, as well as many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and friends. Bill was a decorated Veteran serving in the Army during the Korean War and in both the Army Reserves and the Air National Guard. His love for softball, basketball, and bowling only outshined by his love for Elvis. He spent many years sharing Christ with others and actively serving in his church and witnessing to anyone he spoke to. Friends may call on Wednesday, January 13, 2021 from 10:00AM-11:00AM followed by a time to share memories at 11:00AM at Heart and Hope by Schoedinger-Linden Memorial Chapel, 2741 Cleveland Ave, Columbus, Ohio 43224. Interment with military honors will follow at Mifflin Cemetery, Gahanna, Ohio.
