Charles H. “Charlie” Schafer, age 74, of Columbus, peacefully passed away Friday, January 6, 2012. He was born to the late Howard and Nedra Schafer on October 4, 1937. Charlie was in the Army Reserve. He was owner of Schafer Audio for over 30 years. He enjoyed working in his garage as well as working the audio system at Muirfield Village for golf tournaments and weddings. He will be missed. Charles is survived by his loving wife, Carol Schafer; brother-in-law, David Hoover; and extended family.
