Charles W. "Bill" Stumph

Charles W. “Bill” Stumph, 85 of Westerville, OH died Thursday, October 18, 2012 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born November 1, 1926 in Marion, OH to the late Tullos Merle and Dorothy (Riley) Stumph. He was a graduate of Mifflin High School, a veteran of the U.S. Army Air Corps. and retired as plant superintendent from CVI Inc. Bill was past chairman of Columbus Section American Welding Society and a member of Karl Road Christian Church. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He is preceded in death by three brothers Richard, Robert and Donald. He is survived by Ruth his loving wife of 64 years, brother Pete (Lil) Stumph, sons Gary (Cheryl) Stumph and Michael (Carolyn) Stumph and daughter Jennifer (Scott) Sonnenberg, four grandsons Bryon (Colleen) Stumph, Brad (Katie) Stumph, Michael and Patrick Sonnenberg, four great granddaughters Josephine, Kelsey, Kaylee and Carly Stumph and many nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at SCHOEDINGER NORTH CHAPEL, 5554 Karl Rd. where a funeral service will be held Monday at 10 AM. Interment will follow in Sunbury Memorial Park.
