Charles Raymond Welch

Charles Raymond "Chuck" Welch, Jr., age 56, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, June 1, 2014. He was born in Columbus, Ohio on January 6, 1958. Chuck served in the United States Army and was the owner and operator of Creative Conversions. He loved spending time with family and drag racing his 1966 Ford Mustang at National Trail Raceway and Mopar. Chuck was preceded in death by his wife, Charlotte Welch; and fathers, Charles Raymond Welch and Dutch Meister. He is survived by his loving wife, Christina Welch; children, Christy Welch, Cassie Welch-Haddox, Haylea Welch, Brianna Merckle, Chaz Welch, Levi Welch, and Hans Welch; grandchildren, Jordan Bragg, and Serenity Haddox; mother, Sharon Meister; sister, Linda Meister; and many other loving family and friends. Chuck brought a smile to everyone's face and will be deeply missed by all who knew him. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 5, 2014 at 6:30PM with visitation one hour prior at the SCHOEDINGER EAST CHAPEL, 5360 East Livingston Avenue, Columbus, Ohio 43232. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses.
