Charles T. Wood

Charles Thompson Wood, age 49, died July 9, 2010 in Columbus, OH. He was born February 26, 1961 in New Rochelle, NY to the late Charles Alan and Kathleen Wood. Charlie was a devoted family man with a strong faith. He was an avid fisherman and loved to build model ships, collect coins, play the banjo, shoot at the firing range, and most of all, tell good stories and jokes. He was gentle, charming, and had a heart as big as he was tall. There were no strings attached with his love. Charlie is survived by his wife of seven years, Karrie; step-son, Andrew Wilcox; sister, Joannie Rojas; parents-in-law, Carol and Woody Wilson; beloved dogs, Heidi and Hailey; and many more family members and friends. Family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 pm on Monday, July 12, 2010 and 12-1 pm on Tuesday, July 13, 2010 at Schoedinger Worthington Chapel, 6699 N. High St. Worthington, OH 43085 A funeral service will be held at 1 pm on Tuesday, July 13, 2010 at the funeral home. Interment will be at 11 am on Wednesday, July 13, 2010 at Garards Fort Cemetery in Garards Fort, PA.
