Charlotte Preece

Charlotte Gaye (Deahl) Sparkes Preece, age 68, passed away Saturday, March 4, 2017 in Columbus, Ohio. She was born November 6, 1948 in Columbus to Charlie, who preceded her in death, and Joan (Tipple) Deahl, who survives. Charlotte loved camping, horses and dogs, especially Punky, Taco, Cloe and Bart. At one time, she owned Frank's Bar on Hudson Street. She was caring and always helped others in need. In addition to her father she was preceded in death by her twin sister Charlene. She is survived by her children Joey, Jodi and Jamie Sparkes; grandchildren Emma, Brittany, Shannon and Anthony; great grandchildren Melanie, David, Dakota, Ana 'Lisia and GioVanni; sister Sue Lana.Visitation will be held 5-6 p.m. Friday, March 10, 2017 at the SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST CHAPEL, 1051 E. Johnstown Rd, Columbus, OH 43230. A memorial service will be held at 6PM with Celebrant Mark Dettmer officiating In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family in care of the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
