

A funeral service, to celebrate the life of Charlotte Rae Wilson, 72 of Thornville, will be held on Friday, July 13, 2012 at 10:30 AM at the Criss-Schoedinger Funeral Home, with Rev. Mark Katrick officiating. Burial will follow at Fairmount Cemetery.
Charlotte was born in Newark on October 4, 1939 to the late Raymond and Martha (Stretton) Walters. She passed away at St. Ann’s Hospital on July 9, 2012 while surrounded by her family.
She was a member of St. Johns United Church of Christ and was a former member of the Heath Lions Club. Charlotte was a 4-H advisor and was also a state delegate for the 4-H volunteer forums. She was the secretary of the Jacksontown Alumni Association, Class of 1957. Her career began at Airesman Ignition, prior to her service at the Newark Air Force Base/Boeing, retiring after 40 years of service.
Survivors include two daughters, Beth (Robert) Gray of Columbus and Jamie (John) Adamik of Charleston, WV; grandchildren, Jeremy (Janee) Stephenson, Jason (Lola) Stephenson, Steven Adamik and Ethan Adamik; great grandchildren, Julian, Madison, Emily and J.P.; brother, Richard (Pam) Walters of Kentucky; sister, Ellen (Ralph) Drumm of North Carolina; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Friends may call at the funeral home, 179 Granville Street, Newark on Thursday from 5:00 to 8:00 PM.
