Chester M Jones

Chester M. Jones, 89, went home to be with the Lord on June 9, 2010 peacefully, with his family by his side. He was born December 22, 1920 in Lancaster, OH. He was a member of the North Columbus Christian Missionary Alliance Church where he was an active member and counselor at church camps. He was good natured, easy going, and always laughing, smiling, and talking. Chet was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Goldie Jones, and his brother, Gene. He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Lois Burke Jones; sons, Chester Allen (Linda) Jones of Columbus, and Daniel (Tammy) Jones of Circleville; grandsons, Michael Jones and Travis Jones; and granddaughters, Michelle (Link) Staffen, Tiffanie (T.J.) Nevills, and Cassie Spires. The family would like to thank everyone at Brown Memorial Home in Circleville for their care and love shown to Chet. Family will receive friends from 6-8 pm on Monday, June 14, 2010 at Schoedinger North Chapel, 5554 Karl Rd. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home at 11 am on Tuesday, June 15, 2010 with family receiving friends one hour prior.
