

Christopher H. Baker, he was known as “Chris” or “Bake” to his many friends, age 50, died on November 13, 2009. He is preceded in death by his mother, Geraldine “Jerry” “Red” Baker. Chris is survived by his dad, Herbert “Herb” Baker; sister, Sharon Baker; children, Clay Matthew, Edward Allen, Leah Marie, Emma Rae Baker, and many friends. He was the manager of warehouses for many years, and liked to keep work at work. He was an excellent artist doing paintings on glass and also pencil sketches, a fantastic cook including working for Damon’s, and Plank’s in Grove City. Chris enjoyed watching football with his dad and making the Browns/Bengals a real rivalry because Chris was the Browns fan and dad is the Bengals fan. His true passion was for his children whom he cherished with all of his heart. Chris served his country in the Army serving some time in Germany. He worked in Satellite Communications. Chris liked old movies and the older the better and especially Fred Astaire movies. Visitation will be held on Friday November 20, 2009 from 2-4 and 6-8pm at the SCHOEDINGER-NORRIS CHAPEL 3920 Broadway, Grove City where funeral service will be held on Saturday November 21, 2009 at 1pm with Andrew Hoover, Funeral Celebrant with cremation to follow.
