He is also preceded in death by his sister, Shirley Hanson. After graduating from high school Chuck moved to Florida where he lived for many years until returning to Columbus. He loved cars and drag racing. His greatest passion was to get another 1968 Camaro like the one he owned. He is survived by his son, Chuck (Michelle) Hanson; grandchildren, Isabella and Jacob; best friend, Bob Maxwell and dear friend, Gail Singleton and family. Visitation will be held 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, December 30th at SCHOEDINGER HILLTOP CHAPEL, 3030 W. Broad St., where funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Thursday, December 31, 2009 with Pastor Mark Raddatz officiating. Interment Alton Cemetery.
