Claire Max Cohagen, 96, passed away Wednesday, May 31, 2017. He was born on October 13, 1920 to the late Claire and Vada Taylor. Max served in the United States Army during WWII. He retired from Jeffrey Mining Machinery Company. Max is survived by his loving wife Evelyn; son, Mike (Leslie) Cohagen; daughter, Patty (Tom) Uhlig; 3 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Sunday, June 4, 2017 from2-4 pm at Schoedinger East Chapel 5360 E Livingston Ave where a funeral service will begin at 4:00 pm. Interment at Glen Rest Memorial Estate at a later date.
