Clarence "Casey" Bowser

Clarence Sylvester Bowser Jr. (Casey), 58, went to be with our Lord on June 15, 2016. Casey was born on December 16, 1957 in Summit Station, and lived in Gahanna. Casey loved his family (especially spending time with his three grandsons), traveling, camping and NASCAR. He loved serving others, and was an active member of Gahanna Community Congregational Church, Boy Scout Troop 192 (Westerville), Sunrise Lodge #783 and Scottish Rite Valley of Columbus Aladdin Shriners. Preceded in death by his mother Crystal Lang Bowser (Tilly), father Clarence S. Bowser, Sr. and step-mother Ellen R. Bowser. Survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Cindy L. Bowser, sons Shawn (Jessica Reed) Bowser and Cory Bowser, and precious grandsons Ty Steck, Reed Bowser and Lincoln Bowser. Also survived by his sister, Ruth Bowser of Edison, mother-in-law C. Louise Wine of Gahanna, and sisters-in-law Sharon (Dan) Storts of Pataskala and Kathy (Jeff) Glanville of Gahanna, and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at Gahanna Community Congregational Church, 470 Havens Corner Rd., Gahanna, on Monday, June 20 from 5:00 pm-7:00 pm with a memorial and Masonic service immediately following. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Aladdin Shrine Hospital for Children c/o Aladdin Shrine Center, 1801 Gateway Circle, Grove City, OH 43123 or Gahanna Community Congregational Church.
