C.M. Roukue Hager, 88, of Columbus, passed away Tuesday, January 20, 2015 after a long illness. He was born November 13, 1926 in Columbus to the late Hurshel and Laronah (Smith) Hager. Roukue was a WWII Army Air Corp veteran and Korean War Air Force veteran, a member of U.S. Power Squadron, a lifetime member of AMVET Post # 89 and a longtime member of Orient United Methodist Church. A drummer all his life, he was a well known musician in the Columbus area. His passion was boating and being on the water. He is preceded in death by son, Jon and grandson Eric. Roukue is survived by Elaine his loving wife of 58 years, step-daughter Toni (John), daughter Susan, sons Roukue (Doreen) and Tracy (Darla), 9 grandchildren and10 great grandchildren. Funeral service will be held Friday, January 23, 2015 at 11 AM at SCHOEDINGER NORTH CHAPEL, 5554 Karl Rd. with interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
