

Clinton Ladale Prysock Sr. also known to many as “Clint” the son of Robert Lee Prysock and Bertha (Prysock) Johnson, born October 10, 1964. He was the first of four siblings Bridget, Janaia, and Deetra Prysock also extended blended siblings. He attended Columbus city schools. Graduated from Eastmoor Academy High School, class of 83. Shortly after he joined the military as a marine and served in the middle east during the Gulf War. Clint was stationed in Jackson, North Carolina, he soon relocated back to Columbus with his one-year-old son Clinton Jr., whom he along with his mother, sister and host of family and friends assisted in his son’s care. Clint worked for the custodial Department of the Columbus City Schools from there he worked 11 ½ years for City of Columbus Water and Power Human Resources. He became a member of New Birth Christian Ministries. Clint enjoyed many hobbies throughout his life, including mastering the martial arts, fishing, playing pool, and cheering on the Pittsburgh Steelers. Above all, he cherished his family and the time they spent together. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Clint departed this life on June 22, 2026, at his residence. We leave to cherish his memories; mother, Rev. Bertha Johnson, Son, Laquan Prysock, sisters; Bridget Prysock, Deetra (DeeDee) Prysock Gibson, Janaia “Sandra” Randle, Monique Brown, Yolanda Goodwin, and Warria Bryant, brothers; Robert Johnson, Darryl Bryant, and Robbie Prysock Williams, special aunts, Rose (Pat) Wellington, Roseetta Gakman, and Linda (Mike) Kalum, many nieces and nephews, along with other dear family and friends.
Clinton was preceded in death by his father Robert Lee Prysock, sons, Clinton Prysock Jr, and Nicholas Prysock, grandparents; Minnie P. Johnson, Willie Harrison, and Mable (Leroy) Prysock, uncles, Frank Johnson, and James Johnson along with other family members.
Visitation will be held on July 10, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, followed by the Funeral Service from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at New Birth Christian Ministries, 3475 Refugee Rd, Columbus, OH 43232.
