Colleen Nichole Alessio

Colleen Alessio Sullivan, 25, of Gahanna, Ohio passed away unexpectedly on January 25, 2019. She was born September 10, 1993 and was a graduate of Gahanna-Lincoln High School, class of 2012. She enjoyed singing in the school choir as well as in the choir at Stonybrook United Methodist Church. Colleen loved working with children and volunteered her time in school and church where she could share that gift of love. On June 10, 2017 she married her best friend, Brandon L. Sullivan. More than life itself, she loved being a mom to her son Jaxon and step-son Evan. Colleen is also survived by her mother Christine Alessio; father Larry (Debbie) Alessio; grandmother Doris Schuler; half-sister Monica Alessio; father-in-law Don (Brenda) Sullivan and mother-in-law Mindy Hall; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and friends. Colleen was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents Frank and Ruth Alessio. Visitation will be held from 12-2pm on Saturday, February 2, 2019 with a service beginning at 2pm, at Schoedinger Northeast Chapel, 1051 E. Johnstown Rd., Gahanna, OH 43230; Pastor Nikki Baker, officiating. Private family interment at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Cardiology Unit at Nationwide Children's Hospital, PO Box 16810, Columbus, OH 43272-5117.
