Connie S. Dean

Connie S. Dean, 53, of Circleville, died October 2, 2010 at her residence. She was born January 28, 1957 in Circleville the daughter of the late Robert and Martha Hoover. A graduate of CirclevilleHigh School, Connie worked for many years at the Children’s Academy and as a secretary at the Bennington Law Office. She had a natural love for children, helping to nurture many children under her care. A loving wife, devoted mother and proud grandmother,

Connie is survived by her husband, Dave Dean; daughter, Nicole (Kevin) Bennington of Circleville; son, Shaun Surgenor of Upper Arlington; sister, Billie (Roger) Williams, brother, David Hoover; grandchildren, Emma, Ella and Kelton; and many other friends and relatives.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 7, 2010 at Defenbaugh-Wise-Schoedinger Funeral Home with Dr. T. Ronald Sams officiating. Burial will be in ForestCemetery. Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Children’s Charitable Foundation, 143 W. Franklin St., Circleville, OH43113.
