

Constance Prince passed away October 20, 2019, at 94. Born to the late Robert Fieldings Childs and Constant John Roberts in Mount Vernon, Ohio. Constance was a strong confident woman of the depression era who valued her experiences over possessions. She shared her love of traveling with her family, most recently dog sledding in Alaska.
Traveling didn't just mean vacation but adventure. Constance along with her partner owned the Gam Ling restaurant on College Ave for 20 years. She was an incredible seamstress and baker; known for her Christmas cookies and costumes made for her grandchildren. Constance was a selfless women who extended her care and compassion to her friends, employees and tenants. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Willard Prince and life partner Benny SooHoo. She was survived by daughter Sharon (Tom) Falter; granddaughter Stephanie (Mark) Wood; and great granddaughters Ashley and Abbey; and granddaughter Samantha Falter (Steven Goodyear). Visitation will be held 10 AM Saturday October 26, 2019 at SCHOEDINGER MIDTOWN 229 E.State Street. Funeral service will follow at 11 AM, Mark Dettmer will be officiating. Interment will be Saturday at Rich Hill Cemetery following services. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to The James Cancer Research or Macular Degeneration Research at The Ohio State University.
